Since I started POZEN in 1996, I've been living my dream of creating and developing innovative pharmaceutical products that make people's lives better. I'm proud of the clinical success we've had with Treximet® for the acute treatment of migraine, and that we expect for VIMOVO™, our new arthritis medicine. There can be no finer compliment to our efforts than to hear from patients who tell you how your medicine has changed their lives for the better.

Now, building on the strength provided to us by the financial benefit from these products, it's time to take the next logical step in the evolution of this company. You will find information on this site about the next generation of POZEN products and our plans to commercialize them. As a first step, our plan is to take the technology we've used for VIMOVO™, incorporate it into various "safer aspirin" products, and take them through the regulatory approval process using the same successful strategic outsource model we've always employed.

At the same time, however, POZEN will begin the process of commercializing these key assets ourselves instead of licensing them to a strategic partner. We intend to build a 21st century commercial operation-lean, efficient, and built to deliver cost-effective, evidence-based medicines that fit the needs of patients, physicians, and payers.
